Our Latest Customizable Product...

Kevin Purchase and Matt Minter
We’re always excited to show off a little-known product that you can personalise and gift to someone else, and we found a really unique way to unveil our latest customised product!

Everyone likes their morning coffee, right? Well, we thought it would be really neat if your morning coffee could reveal a little surprise for you every morning. Let’s face it, the thought of coffee makes us smile, but the idea of our coffee mug greeting us with a special message makes us grin!

We want to highlight our colour changing mugs; you can find them on our website. The colour changing mugs are a great buy for yourself or a friend or loved one because you can customise them with your very own special message. As the colour changes, the message is revealed!

For the Dustin Rudman Invitational, a popular motorbike race event, RapidStudio was one of the sponsors. We thought it would be really great to make a little gift for the winner and runners up, so we designed a few of our colour changing mugs just for the event.

When the winner and runners up came across the finish line, they received their very own colour changing mug. We branded our logo and customised each mug with “1st prize”, etc. It was a great way to award the winners for their victories.

The colour changing mugs aren’t just for extreme sports enthusiasts, though. They’re meant to be for anyone - moms, dads, co-workers, friends, and anyone else who likes to smile. These special little gifts are affordable and fun, and you can really let your imagination run wild when you’re customising each one!

Tip 9 : Aligning and Spacing in Rapidstudio

We often want to create a collage of photo's as a page design. Most of the time we are not totally confident in creating this type of layout in Rapidstudio, as you have to be accurate in your aligning and spacing of pictures. In this tutorial I will be explaining how to create a collage of pictures on a page, as it covers most of the alignment and spacing topics.
I hope this tutorial will help you realise your design intent more accurately and efficiently.
You will probably start with a page layout something similar to this

We are going to start with top row of pictures. The following explanation only refers to the top row, we will be dealing with the rest of the images a bit later.
First of all we need to move the pictures next to each other horizontally to see if they will fit in the "Safe Area" of the page. In this example the pictures are too wide and overlap the safe area horizontally. Please note that you will have to leave a decent amount of space between the safe …

Creative Ideas for a Post-Holiday Photobook

Here’s how to turn your holiday photos into a creative, must-keep photobook.

Returning home after a holiday can leave you with the post-travel blues. As you wash your bikini, shake the sand out of your sneakers, and try to revive the house plants you haven’t watered for two weeks, you begin to long for the lazy days of a vacation.

But, just because you’re home, doesn’t mean the holiday fun is over. Gather your memories up and create a photobook of your trip. Putting it together is a fun way to keep the holiday feeling alive, plus you can look back on it, to get yourself ready for next December (or April. We’re coming for you, public holidays).

Create a #Hashtag If you went on holiday with a few friends or family members, make sure that everyone uploads their pics to Instagram using a unique hashtag you create, like #SmithFamilyHoliday2017. Check it doesn’t exist already! That way, when you create the photobook, you can search for the hashtag, and find every photo that was taken. An ea…
