Happy Birthday to YOU!!!

Happy Birthday RapidStudio
Six years ago, RapidStudio started down the path to where we find ourselves today. Now, we offer a robust suite of simple, interactive products. Our website is smooth, our branding has been successful. Those who have been with us from the start, however, know that this journey has not been effortless! We’ve gone to the drawing board time and time again, tweaking some things and completely tossing others. None of the magnificent changes that have taken place over the last six years would be possible without you.
Our customers have supported us not only by returning to our website or referring other people to RapidStudio’s services, but they have provided feedback that has been integral to the direction our company has gone. Our partners have worked diligently with us to offer the products our customers crave. Each of our partners has delivered world-class framework, and this framework has been a key to the long-standing success of RapidStudio. The staff at Rap…

Paint By Shadow Canvases:

Paint By Shadow Canvases:
RapidStudio and CraftRoutes got back in touch with their inner artist in Pretoria last week.
CraftRoutes, a specialist arts and crafts shop in Pretoria, invited Paint-by-Shadow to be the flagship product at their annual exhibition in the Kolonnade Shopping Mall, Montana Park.

Our largest size (80 x 120 cm) canvas was placed on the stand and throughout the 6 days of exhibiting, the canvas was painted by myself (product developer), Sue Peddle (owner of CraftRoutes) and all the sales staff from the store.

The King Protea image was developed for Sue and her shop, which reflected the mood of Heritage Day.  This image also show cases the Proudly South African product Paint-by-Shadow truly is.

Have you always wanted to be an artist but thought it was too difficult?
We have developed an innovative new product called “Paint-by-Shadow. Paint-by-Shadow is a great starter product that takes any of the initial apprehension and unknowns out of the painting process.

PhoneTography – Product ideas to preserve moments for eternity

Life offers numerous beautiful moments worthy enough to be remembered and wonderful enough to be preserved for eternity. While sculptures, paintings and portraits gave yesteryear artisans an avenue to capture such moments, things underwent a rapid change with the introduction of the camera. This photographic revolution that began one and a half centuries ago has attained great new heights in recent times. Technology has brought to our doorsteps such an eclectic range of devices and techniques that it is impossible to unfasten our lives from its grip. It is an incredibly rewarding experience nevertheless. As the world slowly moved from regular cameras to digital ones, another amazing revolution began.

PhoneTography – Product ideas to preserve moments for eternity
Camera phones have completely changed the way people looked at photography. What was once possibly reserved for the elite or the most knowledgeable is now available in the hands of children. Smartphones, tablets and iPads have…

Creative Marketing with Andrew Ross

Creative Marketing with Andrew Ross
Yet another successful event for RapidStudio, this one we were not just a part of, we were the organisers, it was our Brain Child, #Bragging.
Besides the fact that some of us struggled to locate the venue even with the help of a good GPS, we all got there on time looking good in our Chinese Collar Black Shirts, we found Marius and Jaco there giving out name tags and also bragging about the good job they had done to set up the venue (that we all acknowledged and were grateful to them for)

Andrew Ross wasted no time, introduced himself and told us what wasn’t free on the menu Lol, gave people a few minutes to settle down and place their orders before he started offloading his knowledge of the Marketing Industry to us, he was amazing, and everyone was very attentive, very clear on the DO’s and DON’Ts of this Industry and I already smell success for all those who took his advice. You think you know all there is to know about something until an experien…

Mandela Day 18th July 2014

Mandela Day 18th July 2014

When thrown out on the table as to what RapidStudio would be doing for Mandela Day on the 18th July, an idea I had stewing could be brought to fruition. It would involve large wall murals, using our Paint-by-Shadow concept i.e. painting over a desaturated image/design printed on canvas. It would also allow all our staff to be actively involved in this project.

I started searching for a charity that would have a connection between them and us.
The connection I pursued was being a business in the community giving back to its community.

I discovered Ringarosy, a non-profit organisation in Rosettenville – our community!
Ringarosy is based at Santarama Miniland on Rosettenville Rd.
It consists of a pre-school for children aged 2 to 6 and a Play and Learn Centre for after school care.

“Ringarosy is all about transformation - the transformation of kids, their outlook and their opportunities. In a bold new move we have taken on the transformation of the Kids Kazoo …

Discovery 702 Walk the Talk July 2014

Discovery 702 Walk the Talk July 2014 Celebrating the 20th year of Democracy, what better way to celebrate this, than being joined by like-minded people. This was most definitely one on the biggest events that I have been part of since moving to Johannesburg May 2013. Happy to say that I was joined by an AWESOME, FUN, VIBY, and full of ZEAL team RapidStudio.

As we all gathered together, getting ready for our BIG walk, you could sense the excitement building up. The cold weather could not keep Team RapidStudio from having a fun filled walk. One thing that was an issue was the road blocks, lol, but not even that could hold us back. We were so ready to do this. Being able to unite in this way made the walk worthwhile, even getting cold for that matter was all worth it. I remember everyone moaned because their toes and hands were freezing as we walked toward the starting point.

At the starting point, everyone was singing and dancing. Seeing people with babies in prams, toddlers,  dogs - b…

World Cup Gifting

Having a fun park or a match night to watch some of the matches with clients and staff is great.
The sport is good for morale and camaraderie, it brings people together and gets them interacting and communicating more effectively.

World Cup Gifting
So you've got your venue, and you've invited your clients and staff, and you've ordered the drinks. The TV's all set up, and the evening is going to be a great success. But wouldn't it be great if they could take something away with them. Something to remind them of the great time they had, and something to remind them of you, who hosted the evening.

We've got some ideas for you.

Every business is different, and you're going to want to pick something that suits your client. Here are a few examples of key rings, mugs and mouse pads.
Make sure that you brand and personalise the merchandise, it just means that much more when it's personal and they're more likely to enjoy it and use it. It's great to have…
