Happy Mother's Day 2015! Celebrating the gift of mothers
Celebrations of motherhood have occurred throughout history, including in Greek and Roman times. In modern times, we celebrate mothers around the world on Mother’s Day. Whether you are celebrating for your own mother, a family member, a friend, or yourself, Mother’s Day is a special occasion that allows us to stop and appreciate all that moms do for us!
Without moms, the world would be so different. Mothers have a tendency to get stressed out, but it’s only because they want nothing more than to keep their families together. They work relentlessly to create comfortable homes, raise babies and children, and provide for their families while balancing work, life, and pregnancies. Without moms, there would be no life, and households just wouldn’t be the same.
For some of us, we celebrate Mother’s Day in memoriam of someone we loved dearly but who has passed on. For others, we spend Mother’s Day as a celebration of family unity with the people we love the most. For some, Mother’s Day is a special reminder of the gift of motherhood.
No matter who you are celebrating for this year, make sure to thank her for the sacrifices she’s made to contribute to her family. Mothers are the hardest workers with the most difficult job on the planet. An interesting dynamic that most mothers will say is absolutely true? That they would do it all over again in a heartbeat.
For a mother, there is no greater gift than her child’s life, love, and happiness. The bond cannot be broken, no matter what, and a mother will always love her child. Regardless of why or who you are celebrating, keep these things in mind and thank her for being a mom!
