Why Create Photo Books?

Most of us have hundreds of thousands of digital photos stored on hard drives and DVD’s, but we never do anything with them.  Some of these photos might make it to Facebook or Pintrest and one or two might get a spot on the wall in the passageway, but we don’t print them out and put them in albums anymore.  Photo books are excellent for making the most out of those photographs and preserving those memories for years to come.

When photo books first made their way into the world, they were mostly created by scrapbookers, but these days the photo book is for everyone to document momentous occasions, holidays and show casing portfolios.  Gifting these photo books for birthdays and Christmas have also become more and more popular.

You don’t need to be a designer or creative person to make your own Photobooks.  RapidStudio as with many other companies have designed software that is easy-to-use, and pre-designed templates make the task of creating your own photo book so much less daunting.  Even scrapbookers have moved to creating these photo books digitally as it’s much less cost effective and with the versatility and wide range of design elements available in RapidStudio’s software, you are not limited in the way that you can personalise your photo book.

So, as you can see, you have no excuse any more not to dig in and get your first photo book printed.  Thousands of people are creating their own photo books and getting them printed with RapidStudio.  Why should you feel left out?  With an easy, cost effective and fast way of getting your images printed in a quality hard cover photo book, it’s high time you get on the band wagon.

Tip 9 : Aligning and Spacing in Rapidstudio

We often want to create a collage of photo's as a page design. Most of the time we are not totally confident in creating this type of layout in Rapidstudio, as you have to be accurate in your aligning and spacing of pictures. In this tutorial I will be explaining how to create a collage of pictures on a page, as it covers most of the alignment and spacing topics.
I hope this tutorial will help you realise your design intent more accurately and efficiently.
You will probably start with a page layout something similar to this

We are going to start with top row of pictures. The following explanation only refers to the top row, we will be dealing with the rest of the images a bit later.
First of all we need to move the pictures next to each other horizontally to see if they will fit in the "Safe Area" of the page. In this example the pictures are too wide and overlap the safe area horizontally. Please note that you will have to leave a decent amount of space between the safe …

Usually when we have family time we're expecting it, summer holidays, trips planned, activities scheduled, friends visiting.

It's normal for parents to feel nervous about this unplanned time for kids at home amidst school closures and social distancing recommendations to ‘flatten the curve’ of coronavirus.

Principles – Routine and Prioritising Education Firstly, experts recommend acknowledging how stressful the situation is and that that stress is normal. Pause on that for a moment – acknowledge how you’re feeling, that it’s tough, you feel unprepared and uncertain… and when you’ve done that for long enough, let’s work together to make this easi…
